Continuous current regulation makes this valve the ideal solution for retroactive control of fan drive cooling systems inside medium to large transport vehicles such as buses. The net energy savings due to temperature optimization is a key element in energy-saving systems.

The integration of concentrated-parameter simulation systems with FEM simulations enabled the design of this valve to be optimized, with the objective of faster response times. Fundamental is the linear trend of the flow-rate control curve, wanting to have uniform velocity control that is directly related to the uniform flow rate trend. The main application is within lifting and lowering systems, and because of its multifunctionality it allows compact and efficient systems to be created.

DO & CHECK CONCEPT Semi-automatic assembly of valves with two separate stations. Inside the machine there are control gates that ensure complete conformity of the product after each stage since the next stage cannot be carried out until all previous steps are properly completed.
ROTARY TABLE CELL Semi-automatic machine for final assembly of a valve by checking its compliance before each stage resulting in complete customer satisfaction.

The department was always equipped with the best equipment on the market, investing more each year on custom machinery that could fulfill our needs and perform any test required by our customers. Enthusiasm and cross-functional skills are the backbone of this department, aimed at ensuring the highest quality through experimental performance trials and endurance tests, in order to obtain robust and detailed validations.

STATISTICAL
PROCESS CONTROL

QUARTA EVO is an integrated software for SPC (statistical process control) that is installed on every VIS production machine and enables data collection, processing, and control and re-planning of data in order to avoid the risk of process drift by intercepting special causes in a preventive way.

It allows for a direct link with on-board machine measuring instruments which then allows for real time monitoring of machining capabilities and process variables affecting dimensions and tolerances, thus enabling zero scrap.

PROJECT
IN COOPERATION WITH TOYOTA

The project was born from a collaboration between cross-functional teams from VIS Hydraulics and Toyota Engineering & Consulting and aims to reorganize and optimize the logistics at the main production plant (VIS1) in order to reduce lead times and increase flexibility and responsiveness to our customers' demands.

Results available to date show a 60% reduction in lead time.
