The bar & final turning machines are used primarily for the production of all of our pole tubes from blank parts to the final products, while the hard turning machines enable us to complete all multiple finishing operations on critical components. Machine capabilities: 3 Star Bar Lathes S32, 8 Soft Turning Machines (5 Miyano and 3 Nakamura) and 9 Hard Turning Machines (3 Harding, 3 Citizen 3200 2T, 2 Citizen 3200 1T, and 1 Citizen 4200).
All of our pole tubes are welded using 4 fully automated techno-robot systems. This operation consists of the brazing of non-magnetic material into the control cone of the blank pole tubes.
In this lab we perform all the inspections on the parts produced in house. This starts with the set-up of the machines through each of the turning operations to verify the CPK process capability. There are many pieces of inspection equipment in this lab, including a roughness tester, automatic roundness tester, profilometer, optical scanner, high definition microscope, and various manual instruments.
There are 16 Studer between-center and 1 Ghiringhelli centerless grinding machines, 15 of which are fully automated, that complete all of our grinding operations.
Furthermore there are 8 Sunnen honing machines (3 vertical and 5 horizontal), 3 of which are fully automated that complete all of our honing operations. The range of precision internal honing capability is from 3–25 mm diameter.
This plant also includes our 3 fully automated cells for the assembly, test, marking, and packaging processes for three of our highest volume products. In these cells, the parts never get touched after they are loaded and come off the line completely packed and ready to ship to our customers without any human interaction. Two of these cells are from ABL and one is from Syrtec Service.
In this lab we perform all the inspections on the parts produced starting from the set-up of the machines and during all the finishing operations to verify the CPK process capability. This plant consists of the following equipment dedicated to the assembly and final test of our finished valves: 10 assembly lines on flexible benches dedicated by product type, 2 IFP ultrasonic washing machines, 4 Trumpf laser markers, 2 Kistler presses, 2 semi-automated crimping cells, 20 Bimal and Asteriscotech hydraulic test benches for the final test phases and novopack automatic machines are used to pack and prepare the final product for shipment to our customers.
In this lab we perform all the inspections on the parts received from suppliers. There are many pieces of inspection equipment in this lab, including a roughness tester, automatic roundness tester, profilometer, optical scanner, high-definition microscope, hardness tester and micro-hardness tester, CMM, complete valve and single component contamination analysis machine, and various manual instruments.
