🚀This time we've gone big! 🏔Thanks to the amazing winter conditions in our wonderful Apennines, one morning I called the headmistress of the Pavullo Nel Frignano Middle School Rossana Poggioli and told her: "Why not organise a white day so we can take our kids to Cimone for skiing?" 🚌Rossana didn't think about it for a second and together we started to plan the offer for the students, convinced that at best we would be able to fill a bus for one day. 💪 And instead? Instead, the response from the students was enthusiastic: we brought something like 350 students to the slopes of our resort, so much more than a bus! In fact, transport was the first complex challenge we faced, and overcame! 🙌 ⛷For more than 240 students who had never skied before, VIS offered a 2-hour course with ski instructors from our schools. The Cimone ski resort offered us an extremely advantageous 'student package' \(ski pass, lunch, instructors\), so everything worked out in the end. The rest was done by the VIS team who coordinated the 3 days impeccably. 🤝I think this initiative was the perfect example of how we can, and therefore must, create synergy between the realities of the territory: companies, schools, local excellence. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦What we take home is the enthusiasm of the students and families for an experience that gave them a taste of the beauty of our Apennines. 💙I sincerely thank Rossana Poggioli for her support to this initiative, and Luciano Magnani of CimoneSci for welcoming us with open arms. 🔜 I suspect we will do it again next year!
